Built in the 8th century and referred to as ‘Rock-cut temple’, Masroor temple is a complex structure of the North Indian Nagara architecture style, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu.  Due to earthquakes or other natural calamities, most of the temple’s sculpture or art has been lost or damaged.  The fish pond in the front of the temple adds an extra star to its scenic view.
